Case Study: Dr Steven Gabriel
Dr Steven Gabriel is a medical doctor turned Amazon seller. He has an extensive line of supplements on Amazon.com (US).

Supplements are a tricky business:
- brutally competitive
- high ACoS
- lack of trust from consumers
We overcame these obstacles by leveraging Dr Steven Gabriel's personal brand to build trust with customers, then convert using Amazon Advertising. We used a gradual, "built for profit" approach using a mix of Amazon Sponsored Product ads, Sponsored Brand ads, and some (albeit light) Sponsored Display.
Given the unique challenges in the supplement and nutrition space, we communicated a lot with Dr Gabriel, especially in the early days, to make sure we really understood what the unique selling points of each of the supplements were.
